Where is spring?
In past years I have already gotten my flower garden in and the lawn looking great for Memorial Day.
Summer is so short here that when it does arrive we want to enjoy every minute.
I guess its pretty good timing that I will be leaving this week for our Champions For Life Cruise out of Miami.
The temperature in Cozumel is around 90. That ought to warm these old bones right up!
Believe it or not I have still not packed...and I leave Wednesday. I figure I'll have to find a few minutes between now and then to russle up an evening gown for the Captain's dinner.
No worries about the red bikini. Got one of those.
I'll also bring along a one piece for swimming with the dolphins. I'd hate to lose a top or something while playing with Flipper.
I will begin another challenge when I return. For the past couple of weeks I have been on time out. Have added five pounds to my weight but I am confident I will be able to drop them and a few more during the challenge.

Michelle ... I hope you enjoy your cruise and the warmer weather ... Your BLOG post today reminded me of all the stories about Lake Wobegon that Garrison Keilor shares on his Praire Home Companion radio show ... You do know that the colder climate keeps your blood thicker than if you lived down south ... And I've read that it's easier to burn fat when you live in colder climates ... Just take off a layer of clothing and your shivering forces a cardio-aerobic exerience ... It's aways good to read your thoughts and inspirational posts ... Your BFL pal, John Lesko
