I'm at an age when many women believe their best years are behind them. I hope to convince my "Sisters" that many more of those "best years" are waiting to be lived! I'm living proof it is never to late to live them. Not to long ago I weighed nearly 200 pounds and was being treated for a long list of obesity related medical problems. Thankfully there came a point in my life when I decided to keep my self promises. When I did...my life opened to a world of possibilities.

Resting on One's Laurels.

Day 2 of my challenge.
Clean eating--cardio done. Reviewed my goals.
This is so much more fun than resting on one's laurels!

...Laurels are the crowns of the victorious...not the pillows for
the complacent!

Of course, it's always nice to have laurels on which one might rest a bit ... There's a definite distinction between those who are or have been champions and those who never have enjoyed the sweet taste of success.

But then again, success is addictive and one can make a pretty heady drink from squeezing laurels. Which I guess explains why you now are courageous enough to post that before picture along with your championship after photo.

You're an inspiration to many.
